Connecting to nature is connecting to life —embracing its freedom, impermanence, evolution, and growth. The landscapes I move through become a visual language in my work, a way to explore the universal themes that unite us all. Patterns of change, chaos, and balance reflect both nature and human experience.
I am fascinated by the relationship between flow and form—how they coexist, support, and challenge one another. The natural world consistently surprises me, sparking wonder and grounding me in the present moment. It’s in these spontaneous encounters that I find a deeper connection to myself and others.
Through my work, I aim to strip away distractions, allowing the meaningful to emerge. It’s the brush stroke that has so much to say once it has the space to be seen. Using color, texture, shape, and movement, I invite a dialogue between seeing and feeling.
I work with palette knives, non-traditional tools, and fluid pigments, blending improvisation with intention. My practice is rooted in sustainability, inspired by the zero-waste cycles of the earth. I am constantly researching and implementing methods to reduce plastics and create more environmentally conscious work.
